A selection of my art
I’m a keen amateur artist and enjoy working with oil paint on canvas. I also love pencil illustrations, both coloured and graphite, which offer a very different experience from the skill of using brushes and paint.

St. Paulinus Church
I painted this for my own wedding in 1999. St. Paulinus is a beautiful ancient church in the town of Crayford. I used the painting to create my wedding invitations and due to popularity, I sold prints of the painting via the church committee.
Scotney Castle
Scotney Castle in Kent, is a National Trust property. This oil on canvas painting is one of the many picturesque views of the castle and its beautiful lake and grounds.
View from St. James Park
This oil on canvas painting is a very popular view from Buckingham Palace (The Mall) across the lake in St. James’ Park towards Horse Guards Parade.
Shrek and Donkey
A painting in oil of a scene from the original Shrek film.
Lympne Castle
A painting I did for my niece for her wedding at Lympne Castle in Kent. Lympne Castle is a stunning 13th century Grade I listed building which is popular for weddings. Her wedding was in December and I added small details of a Christmas tree in the main ceremony room. She now owns and loves the painting which I gifted to them as a present.
Untitled
A generic view of trees and river at sunrise. Oil on canvas.
Hogwarts
My version of this famous fictional castle and ground. Oil on canvas.
On the Solent
A painting I did for my father-in-law to celebrate his birthday. His passion for sailing with his colleagues meant they spent many a day on the Solent.
Baby Daisy
My first and last attempt at portrait painting. Painted in oil from a series of photographs I took of her as a baby.
Pencil and colour crayon illustration
Apart from using oil paint, I like to use pencil, both colour crayons as well as graphite. I love the detail I can achieve, blending the tones to bring the drawing to life
